Nantou

Named after my Dad's birth place, Nantou (pronounced NAAN-toh), these snap-on bandanas feature a repeating wave pattern on one side and beautiful pottery pieces on the other. Nantou is home to Taiwan's largest natural lake, Sun Moon Lake - the repeating wave pattern on this bandana reminds me of the beautiful and clear waters of Sun Moon Lake.

Also in Nantou is the Puli winery which is known for its unique and fragrant wines. The wine making process includes fermenting rice, barley, and water sealed tightly in earthenware pots for 30 months before it is ready to be enjoyed. The pottery pieces on the opposite side of the bandana represent these winery pots that are used to brew this special wine.
